The Summer Book Tag

Summer. Hot days. Cool nights. Trips to your favorite amusement park. Baseball games. Corn dogs. Funnel cakes. Cotton candy. The beach. Summer is the time to kick back and relax.

Here comes my version of The Summer Book Tag. It was created by Musskaelyn on YouTube. I found it through Gloria.

If you want to play along, leave a comment with a link to your answers. Have fun!

1. Find a book cover that reminds you of summer.
2. What book has brightened your day?
3. Find a book with yellow on the cover.
4. What is your favorite beach read?
I'm not one to go to the beach to read. I actually like to do beachy activities at the beach, but I would probably just take whatever book I'm reading at the time or a contemporary novel.
5. What action book had you running to the ice cream man?
6. Like a sunburn, what book left you with a painful ending?
I cried for three weeks. I'm not even joking. I would wake up and just cry.
7. What book cover reminds you of a sunset?
9. What is one book series you hope to read this summer?

Hi Erin! :) It's Connie from Goodreads. (not sure if you remember, but we had that one conversation about how we loved being surrounded in books at Barnes & Noble, haha)
Your blog is great, it's so organized and lovely! It seems quite new, so if you don't mind my asking, what inspired you to start blogging? I've been thinking of starting one myself, but I'm not sure...
Allegiant was really sad :/ I was depressed for quite awhile after reading it. And I'm also planning on reading the Lunar Chronicles really soon! I've heard such great reviews, but just haven't gotten around to those books (just like the other 400+ books on my TBR shelf xD)

  4. Thanks everyone! I'm glad you're all following and commenting. And all The Lunar Chronicles books are in the mail as I type this. I got a really good deal on the first one in hardcover from Book Outlet. It was only $4.99. :)

Connie - I used to keep an education blog, and after I finished with that, I set up some book blogs on here, and on Tumblr. i just never really got around to doing much with them. I finally decided that while I had some free time, I could start blogging, especially since I received a few ARCs this year.

Gloria - It was a really fun tag. We even had some similar answers, And no problem. I tend to do that because I know it helps people get more followers and visitors.

Anna - Thank you. I've been wanting to read them since Cinder came out. I don't know how many times I grabbed it at Target and Kmart just to leave it.
